Cape Fear River At William O Huske Lock And Dam 3 affecting Bladen and Cumberland Counties. - WHAT: Minor flooding is forecast. - WHERE: Cape Fear River at William O Huske Lock And Dam 3. - WHEN: From this afternoon to Saturday evening. - IMPACTS: At 45.0 feet, Flood waters will affect lowlands along the east bank of the river with some minor overflow along the west bank. - ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:00 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 40.9 feet. - Forecast: The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 44.6 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 42.0 feet. - weather.gov/safety/flood
