This is the detail for a severe weather event that has occurred. The original alert for this event is listed below. Details of the original alert: - WHAT: Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. - WHERE: Portions of central, east central, and southeast New Mexico, including the following counties, in central New Mexico, northeastern Lincoln. In east central New Mexico, southwestern De Baca and southern Guadalupe. In southeast New Mexico, north central Chaves. - WHEN: Until 1215 AM MDT. - IMPACTS: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. - ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 914 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 0.75 and 2.25 inches of rain have fallen across far northeast Lincoln County and far southwest De Baca County. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Ramon and Mesa. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
