Level 4: Learn to Hem Your Clothes

Learn how to hem your own clothes with confidence in this focused, hands-on workshop. Whether it's a skirt that's too long, a dress sitting at an awkward length, or a pair of pants you're turning into shorts – we'll show you how to hem them properly using a sewing machine. This isn't a class for total beginners. To get the most out of this session, you'll need to have completed our Level 1–3 sewing classes or have at least sewn two garments following a commercial pattern. If you're unsure whether this is the right fit for you, feel free to get in touch before booking. In the three-hour session, most people complete one to two garments. It is recommended to bring along 3 – 4 options, just in case some aren't suitable for the session.
