Red Flag Warning Issued Across Southeast Texas For Sunday. Fire Weather Watch Continues for Monday. The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 9 AM to 6 PM CST Sunday. - WINDS: North 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph on Sunday afternoon. On Monday, north winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph. - RELATIVE HUMIDITY: As low as 15 percent in the driest locations. Even to the Gulf beaches, relative humidity values in the 25 to 35 percent range are forecast. - IMPACTS: any fires that develop will be capable of spreading rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. Obey all local burn restrictions and burn bans.
