Chevron City to Surf - Perth

The Perth City to Surf for Active has a rich 42 year history and is Western Australia's most loved community sporting event. Run annually on the last Sunday in August, the event attracts participants from around Australia and overseas. The event has a unique festival atmosphere at both the start in Perth City and even more so at the finish at City Beach overlooking the sparkling Indian Ocean. The event includes a Marathon, Half Marathon, 12 kilometer Run, 12 kilometer Walk, four kilometer Run and Walk, and a four kilometer Wheelchair so there's something for any level of fitness. The Marathon and Half Marathon courses are one of the most picturesque in the world - winding along the beautiful Swan River and through Western Australia's number one tourist attraction, the magnificent Kings Park Botanic Gardens.
